flu bug is everywhere~~~

I caught the flu bug.

Just like everyone else ):

 

Must be due to the rushing of homework.
I have been getting down to doing homework every single day after I get home.

Let’s see, it’s been like, 2 years since I was that diligent?

And my homework’s piling up and I can’t seem to finish it at all.

Have been busy rushing my HOLIDAY homework for the past few days.

I still have 2 chinese essays to do at night cos apparently my chinese teacher decided to turn really kind, and gave us extension of deadline on the initial deadline itself.
HAHAHAHA there were so many people grumbling cos they rushed everything out the night before.

Heng I smart only do half of the entire thing

 

Yesterday was NCC Day!

Changed into No.3 early in the morning and went to the General Office to read the NCC day message over the PA system~

I made a few mistakes here and there but damn it the message is 3.5 pages long.

Was sweating like shit while reading although it’s air-conditioned. Zzz too nervous.
The Part Cs met up with us after school to take pictures and they did something really sweet~

Rotaract BBQ on 27 june!

Okay wait,

before I went for the BBQ, actually I was at Xin Mun’s house filming for the physics video.

LOL GAYLE, you had at least 23 retakes for the last part leh I just found out!! HAHAHAHA.

And then, guess whose picture I saw on the advertisement board at the bus stop.

Right, anyway, I travelled all the way from BUKIT TIMAH to PASIR RIS for the BBQ.

Was supposed to meet up with Veron and Alvin at 6pm but guess what,
ALVIN THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO MEET AT MARSILING AT 6 -.-

So in the end we met up at 7pm :/

Blah blah blah we reached the club’s chalet and woohoooo I see no one I knew except for Pei Yan (though actually I also don’t really know her :X)

They hosted us pretty well lah, kept asking us to eat and eat!

 
The first person I noticed when we went into the chalet was,

Liz lying on the bed!
Ate and chatted with a few people over there.
Actually I also don’t know how I managed to sustain the conversation cos usually I have a hard time speaking with adults :/

Sigh I just realised I cannot attend their installation! ):
Doing a CIP on that day, hope it’s really fun cos I really don’t know anyone there! :O

TODAY’S MY BIRTHDAY WOOHOOO I’M 16 AND I FEEL OLD! :O

Thanks to every single one who either smsed, im-ed me on MSN or wished me happy birthday in person!!

Really made my day!! WOOOHOOO~

My day today was spent with:

1. Liqin in the morning at Vivo’s starbucks where we talked quite abit and she gave me like, THE BEST PRESENT I COULD EVER ASK FOR

HAHAHAHA no lah no lah Liqin, I was kidding (you know what I’m talking about~) BUT ANYWAY THANKS FOR THE SCRAPBOOK!
I’m really very touched.
Just that never cry only.

2. Xinmun and Gayle at Gayle’s hometown, HOLLAND V.
Ate lunch, talked, walked around Holland V and ate ice cream at Cold Rock!
Woohoooo it was a treat! THANK YOU TWO~~

That time I ate it in Aussie was better though, I think cos the weather there was a lot less cooler.
I brought it back to the hostel it still didn’t melt o.o

But the one I ate today, once I got it from the man, it melted :/

3. People who couldn’t think of a name but chose this one aka my ACE camp group mates.
Hahahaha we had meeting at Midpoint Orchard (which was really hard to find btw), which was kinda SAD cos it’s my birthday! :O

But it’s alright since meeting was quite funny! And Clement (Wee)’s magic trick is a scam really.

Though I thought it was cool initially.

Confession to make :

I didn’t go to the chalet in the end. 
Cos I only wanted to go chalet for the BBQ since it was kinda late when I met up with Gayle.
And this brilliant piece of news came to us while we were at Kallang already : BBQ CANCELLED.

So we decided to just runaway to Changi Airport and have dinner.

 

Lame right LOL.

 

But whatever, we settled for Popeye’s at T3 and talked about our life as usual
After dinner we decided to head down to Bugis to shop for a while since there’s really nothing to do at the airport except to see people waving happily through the glass panel cos their friends/family are back.

Maybe they are carrying the H1N1 virus back too~

I feel like an anti-social loser right now cos I chose to stay at home finishing up my homework instead of joining my class at class chalet

Well as I was saying I was doing my homework and I came across this sentence in my Chinese comprehension passage

 (It’s not difficult to see that students nowadays either choose without knowing the consequences or don’t choose because they are afraid of the consequences.)

 

I think I belong to the “don’t choose” category.

I’m actually really a coward who doesn’t dare to take any risks.
There was this personality test which I took that told me that my innate self confidence was broken and I don’t even know if it’s true for myself or not.

 

Ah never mind, I want to cut my hair.

I like that refreshed feeling whenever I get out of the hairdresser’s.

Anyway, today was picnic with Delta at Hort Park~!

Though Liqin and Feei didn’t go D: but well we still had fun eating, basking under the sun playing Game of LIFE and taking pictures!

After taking ictures today I’m convinced that I need a haircut very very soon. Perhaps tomorrow.
Really cannot stand thick ends.

Anyway caught the movie Drag me to hell with Delta after that!
 

Great movie that’s worth catching like seriously!!

It’s been long since a horror movie actually SCARED me and kept me holding my breath and grabbing my bag.

The Ganush woman was freaky lah what the hell.
I get freaked out whenever she appears (though I would laugh at myself after that).
Although it gets funny when I realised how she always aimed the main lead’s mouth and started vomitting disgusting things inside or stuck half an arm inside.

HAHAHAHA.

The movie is really SCARILY FUNNY.

The ending was kinda unexpected for me actually: I THOUGHT IT’D BE A HAPPY ENDING WHERE SHE WOULDN’T DIE! ):

The sound effects were a blast man (pun intended).
Like OMG, sometimes they get so loud that I really felt like covering my ears like what the characters were doing.
And there was this once it got so bad that I could feel the cinema shaking :/

Ahhh whatever it is, IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THIS YET, GO WATCH IT!

 

Wah I miss the feeling of getting freaked out man. The most recent horror movies I watched before this were The Uninvited and Coming soon, and they made me slouched in my seats, which was bad :/
Though I must admit (embarassingly) some cheap scares caught me off-guard zzz.

Anyway, my dearest Part Cs,

You all have did very well and all of us are really proud of you all for clinching the awards back!

As for those whom think that they did not do as well, please get over it soon~ Cos I know no matter what we say it won’t help you feel better.
I’ve experienced this feeling before and I know the best person to get rid away this kind of  “You’re a lousy piece of shit” feeling is YOURSELF.

Just know that whatever rank or award you get during the course doesn’t exactly determine who you are.

It’s a form of recognition for your hardwork, yes. But after all it’s only a 4 day course.

Compressing all your 3 years effort into 4 days only is not an easy task at all.

So please don’t feel demoralised, cos we (ex)specialists [SIGH] know better

Oh god, I think I’ll prolly bore everyone out if I continue typing these words for my Part Cs.

I really got tons of advice and things to say to them.

I think I’ll prolly type a letter like what Ma’am Shuyun did for us last time. She super imba, 1 whole page of letter, font size 7 or something. HAHAHAH.

Last year’s ROD was right before my interact installation. So I stayed back in school for installation prep after ROD.
Still remember I was opening up my ROD gifts and letters from the seniors at the back of LT4 and tearing while I read through their letters.

Despite seeing all the sad posts my platoon mates have posted on their blogs about stepping down, I told myself not to do so as I really want to end off my NCC life in secondary school on a happy note.
But I guess it’s  not that easy huh.
