Woke up early in the morning for CIP at Queenstown CC with Alvin Yijin and Feei!
I got quite an abrupt shock when the person-in-charge there said there was an overwelming number of volunteers over there,
which also meant we won’t have a job -.-
She even suggested we go to Clementi to be mentors for the Sec 1s and 2s who’s gonna plan activities for the kids.
Hmmmm not very interested.
SOMEMORE IT’S IN THE AFTERNOON (!!)
Hahahaha we were thinking of going there super early next week so we’d snatch all the kids there to teach before anyone else gets them.
Okay lah, the teaching wasn’t very tough I guess.
The girl that I taught was very obedient one. So very easy to teach heh.
But I do admit she’s weak in her maths lah :X
She totally don’t get the question one.

After that was lunch and chat at long john’s before Feei went home and the 3 of us went to Alvin’s house for mahjong 
I found out that my house has 3 sets of mahjong when I was digging out the mahjong set to bring over to his house.
Tsk tsk.
My granny is not a pro at mahjong for nothing.
Met Weichen downstairs and went up to Alvin’s house.
Mahjong was hmmm.
I still suck at it -.-
BUT HEY THERE WAS ONCE I GOT 5 TAIS OKAY.
Don’t play play.
Played Big 2 too,
but BRIDGE was still the max.
It was as if I ate a laughing pill cos I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the game!
I think only Yijin wasn’t laughing at all can!
I also don’t know why we kept laughing. But scamming people that we are their partners is quite fun. HAHAHAHAH.
Yay and then Alvin’s nephew came and played with us wooooohoooo.

Right after I walked back into class after recess, I saw many blue packets with yellow post-its on everyone’s tables.
Turns out Miss Goh decided to join us in the Angel and Mortal game too!

Oh and together with it, my Angel has been leaving weird notes on my table.
Yesterday I received this note trying to threaten me and asking me to watch my neck LOL.
Today the letter says “THINGS MAY NOT SEEM AS HOW THEY ARE SEEN.”
Hmmmmm. Indeed things are getting interesting cos there were at least 3 different handwritings in the letter. 
And I thought I guessed who my angel was already!
But the best thing was,

It’s just because I’m a CCA leader and I’ve got good results.
I think it’d be good for profiling purposes,
but it also means I’ve extra responsibilty to do well in my studies now.

I can’t remember much of what happened today except maybe for
1. braving through the storm when I went home and got my shoes entirely wet
2. receiving a card from my angel
3. did make-up chem prac with Yawen
4. argued with my Mum over taking a nap at 7pm
I swear I hate heating testtubes.
But at least we didn’t break any testtubes. Mr Lee said we were pro okay don’t play play

Yesterday was a weird day.
First thing that I went to school I realised my class has decided to play Angel and Mortal.
(I went off halfway for interview on Thurs that’s why I wasn’t informed)
Cool stuff, I’m an angel now!

My mortal’s a guy. Hmmmm.
CCA was spent looking at the Part As learning drills.
Great job Feei and Shirleen, for being so patient. 
It’s tough teaching the Part As man :/
But I think I’d be spending more time with the Part As for the next few activities.
Really want to help them adapt into NCC.
The meeting for march camp planning was held in the middle of the field.
We are the coolest I know. 
Hopefully everything would be settled before 1st March.
Anyway after CCA, went to Bukit Merah Central again with Alvin for the Volunteers Orientation for Touch Young Arrows.
7.30pm-9.30pm.
Imagine eating dinner at 10.00pm.
Worse than that time when I had my combined camp meeting.
The orientation was.
Hmm.
Weird.
Once we got in, I got an abrupt shock.
Everyone inside is OLDER than 16.
(both of us agreed bukit merah is experiencing a serious aging problem. We don’t see teens/kids anywhere at all.)
Okay so we had blow wind blow and I ended up chatting with a speech & drama teacher and 2 a level graduates. o.o
Hmmm interesting.
The second shocking thing that happened was when Uncle Lawrence asked us all to stand and sing prayers to God.
Crap I forgot TOUCH was a Christian organization. Gayle mentioned it to me before but it just went past my head.
So basically I just stood there the whole time like a statue while everyone was singing around me.
I think so long as the people don’t persuade me into believing Christianity I should be fine with these kinda stuff.
Everyone can sing pretty well anyway
And I was quite impressed by the fact that so many people are devoted to worshipping God. They were all singing with their hands held high.
I swear I’ve never seen something like that until yesterday :/
We had Macs after the orientation.
Interesting to see many male adults playing YUGIOH cards.
And there were many people who walked in just to use free toilets.
There was this old man that wore a blue hairband plus a black headband with jewels.

So, I didn’t go for the interview at NCC HQ today afterall.

Actually I don’t feel like skipping Chem Prac,
not cos I want to see Mr L,
but because I don’t want to stay back on one fine Wednesday and do a make up.
To be honest I was pretty “HUH HAVE TO SKIP LESSONS AH.” that kind of thing this morning when I discussed it with Qiaowei.
But come to think of it,
1. It’s not as if it’s my first time.
I’ve been skipping lessons all the time in Year 3.
2. I don’t listen in Physics anyway.

At long last we got down to generate ideas for our group project today.
Heh talked about a lot of random stuff and penned down all the various problems,
from fat and bulky umbrellas to squeezing glue bottles -.-
BUT,
We finally narrowed down to 2 ideas!
Woohooo hopefully either of them would lead to something good.

The picnic plan with delta was postponed.
At first wanted to go out with Liqin but nothing was finalised by midnight.
So here I am, alone at home.

Here’s how I spent my day :
Sleeping all the way till 11am.
Ate lunch.
Read Seventeen and looked through my photo album (ahhhh those memories! )
Slept (-.-) again all the way to 5pm
Wanted to continue sleeping but got really bored, so I went out for a jog.
Ran to my primary school (which was not as near as you think)
and walked back home.
Ah, my perfect idea of pigging out.
It felt great after running cos I wasn’t thinking of anything else.
My primary school has an extended building now and I really want to go in once again.
The last time I’ve been INSIDE was during Sec 1.
Subsequently they banned ex-students from roaming in the school zzz.
At the most we can only stay in the art room for 15 minutes, which was pointless because we don’t have many teachers we want to see.
Last year we only saw Mdm Cahaya,
WHICH WAS OUR P2 TEACHER.
Aye I want to meet up with my 6 Diligent friends~
It’s so fun to see everyone change and we’d exclaim whenever we see them cos they’re just so different! LOL.
The best thing of all is, they’re great gossipers – think CNY gathering at YY’s house.
Heh.
