grand canyon!

Went to the Omni theatre with 13 other year 3s and a whole bunch of year 1s to watch this (!)

 

It’s my first time at the Omni-theatre.

 

 

 

Yes please don’t laugh.

 

It was quite a nice place.

The “screen” was HUGE.

Like literally the whole wall in front of you is the screen.

It’s best if you can lie down and watch,

but too bad, space constraint. ZZZ.

 

Anyway, I took snapshots of that film!

I like the part where the water starts “splashing” all over the screen.
Kind of scary cos the water’s like going to rush out any moment :/

I was quite amazed when I saw 14/30 on my paper actually.

 

I mean, I FAILED MY GEOG (!)

How could I have done that? All my seniors told me geog was an easy subject to score and that was why I took it.

Damn it.

Should have gone with my instincts and chose history instead.

 

The thing that made me most pissed off was,

I ACTUALLY STUDIED FOR GEOG.

I neglected Biology this time, and I got a freaking B3 ( a high one still).

Mid years I studied Biology and neglected geog.

And I didn’t fail geog zzz.

 

Now I know,

I shouldn’t study for geog.

Then I’d score well.

But the person who asked me not to go swimming and go home to prepare for math test is currently watching some stupid taiwan drama so I figure I can use some time to blog too.

 

 

Sorry Liqin, but i seriously think your computer will explode (like literally) if you continue watching that stupid taiwanese show.

I’m really not a fan of taiwanese shows cos they get really cheesy after a while.

And the storyline is always THIS GIRL AND THIS GUY IN A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP AND SOMETHING TRAGIC WOULD HAPPEN,
like maybe the guy got knock down by a car when they are about to get married
or this girl fell down from the stairs, got into a concussion and woke up to find out that she lost her memory.
(You must be wondering how come I know all these storylines. Stop wondering.
IRONY MAKES WHAT I SAID RELIABLE.)

Went with vale shirleen shereen qianhui and someone else (:D) to watch the CLDDS productions at NUS UCC.

 

IT WAS BRILLIANT (!)

Their performance never fails to impress me.
And I love how their skits are always so full of meaning.

First one was about how the old people felt in this busy and everchanging new world.
Damn sad, especially the solitary part by the old man at the end.

Everyone wants to go back to the past, where they enjoy life.
No one likes change.

But it’s impossible to revert back to the past.

Sigh.

Second skit was about this 3 people who wanted to kidnap the president to get money.
They felt that life was unfair to them, that’s why.

In between the skit was lots of comedy and laughter and oh, the actors were very natural

When there are good things to share, everyone around you would be your friend.

When faced in front of adversity, everyone turns against you.

So true isn’t it?

Spec course was a rather traumatising experience.

To me that is ):

Waited so long for my turn to do mutuals/tests until i fell asleep zzz.

Right, I can’t believe I did not post anything on this trip yet even though the pictures are already uploaded onto photobucket.

I’m such a laggerbag.

This was the lorry all of us waited at Gopeng (?) to send us inside to the so-called resort.

It was the first time I STOOD on a lorry. Was pretty amazed that we can actually stand on a lorry at first.

Don’t think the lorry is stupid and laopok.

It was damn hell fun and exciting!

Cos we have to keep bending down to duck the branches and trees overhead.
And ___ kept cursing. LOL I swear all of us were stunned at that point of time when we heard him utter the first “WALAN EH!”

It was so fun that when we reached that “resort” all of us were
“HUH SO FAST?! I CAN’T WAIT TO GO ON THIS THING AGAIN!”

2nd day we went out to explore 3 caves in the morning at 8am

We grouped with the BBSS guys and Kenneth (LOL).

The caves were quite cool, total darkness inside.
Somemore we don’t know what we stepping on. Got a lot of bats and bat shit and mud inside (look at our trackpants!)

2nd day afternoon we did whitewater rafting!

don’t lament

this whole morning was bloody hell screwed.

i was late for my physics paper.
i left 2 whole pages blank.
i don’t know how to do most of the questions.

 

never mind, i brought all of these upon myself.

no lamenting no blaming no excuses.

after all,
it’s not of high percentage (:X)

and if i really fail (which i think i will),
it would serve as the best wake up call for me.
